Travelling via Heerlen I visited the Glaspalais Schunk in Heerlen, a very modern building designed by Frits Peutz in 1934/35. It is one of the 1000 most important buildings of the 20th century. The house was designed for the warehouse Schunck, nowadays it is a cultural meeting point and also hosts the bibliothek of Heerlen.
