evening walk through my neighbourhoud

Tomorrow my project 365 finishes, I have taken 365 photes on 365 consecutive days, one year! I am proud, that I managed to stick to the comitment I had with myself for this project, it is fun to look back - a beautiful visual diary, for sure a learned a lot during this year about myself, about being centered and focused in a relaxed way and much more. I enjoyed the project a lot and it feels very got to have it accomplished.

I am also looking for new projects and new ways to present my work, even if I will keep on photographing daily I let go from the comitment. At the moment my idea is to present different projects, without many words, just the photos and I want to start with the evening walk I had tonite in my neighbourhoud in Amsterdam.

walk through beatrix park on a summery evening

I did a Miksang Walk in Beatrix Park a few days ago, it was not too warm, but the sun was shining and the light was beautiful. I enjoyed the nature as well as the people. I entered the Park via the exhibition center RAI where a group of people was exercising. For the rest of my walk just see the photos.

flock of birds

in the late afternoon short before nightfall I heard the flock of birds gathering in two huge trees at Sarphati Park in Amsterdam before I saw them ... they were twittering loudly and more and more birds were arriving

the trees became heavy with birds and the twitter only increased - then suddenly - silence, all at once, absolute silence

and off they, go leaving the trees alltogether in the same moment - what a synchronicity - amazing!

within seconds they are forming the swarm and circle their rounds above the roofs of Amsterdam

it really has been a pleasure to take the time and watch the birds, gathering in the tree, more and more and then within a split second  - this absolute silence - and off they go - as one .... for me they surely all are one
